Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

Im 2025-Bericht werden mehr als 30.000 Cleanups und 15 Millionen erfasste Fundstücke seit Beginn genannt; für 2025 selbst meldet Ocean Wise 8.570 Teilnehmende, 806 Cleanups und 13.445,9 kg gesammelten Abfall.

The **Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup** is an association that has been conducting beach clean-ups since 1994. Since 2004, they have systematically collected the following amounts of data during their clean-ups:

Within the scope of approx. 26,000 clean-ups, a total of 1,882 tons of waste have been collected along approx. 38,344 km of beach. Every year, an average of 54,000 people have taken part in this process.
